Arts & Arts and Craft Festival
Ocean Shores Public School is excited to be hosting its Arts & Craft Festival again in 2011, in conjunction with the Ocean Shores Arts Expo on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 August.
The Arts & Craft Festival is a vibrant weekend showcasing artisan market stalls, live performances, free arts and craft workshops, eco wetland tours, great coffee and fantastic food in the beautiful grounds of Ocean Shores Public School.
Mask making, block printing, drawing and basket making are just some of the community arts workshops on offer. There will also be a participatory public art project and school art displays.
The Arts & Craft Festival is an important fundraiser and monies raised will subsidise arts enrichment opportunities for Ocean Shores students and purchase new school equipment to support the performing arts.
