2011 Expo Help:

12 June, 2011.

Payment process for entry to the Arts Expo.

The Ocean Shores Art Expo has decided to use an integrated artwork entry and payments process via a SECURE Paypal site. This will greatly improve on the efficiency by which we handle the artwork entries end of things. With the numbers ever increasing it was just a matter of time before we messed up big time with the old manual handling.

You or a friend helping you will need to have access to a Credit or Debit card either Master Card of VISA or a Paypal account which is real easy.

Q: Is my Card payment "Safe"?.

PayPal protects your financial information with industry-leading security and fraud prevention systems. Your payment session is transacted strictly between PayPal's SECURE server and You. This is as safe as using any other Australian Netbanking facility. In fact if you already have an account with PayPal then no card information need be entered at all since it then would be on file already. When you use PayPal, your financial information is not shared with the Art Expo. Once your payment is complete, you will be emailed a receipt for this transaction.

Q: I don't have or want a Visa/Master Card.

In this case you can establish an account at PayPal linked to your home bank account.
The PayPal setup may take several days in order to allow the mutual validation between your bank and PayPal.
Once you have PayPal set-up you can return to the Art Expo Entry Site at which time the transaction will proceded much like an EFT POS session in in your local store would, and funds will be drawn directly via PayPal.

Q: I have two artworks to enter, how can I do this?

In this case you will need to enter information on our entry page for the first artwork and then click on to PayPal via "Add to card" once the Paypal screen emerge you review the information showing for the first artwork and if correct click "continue shopping" which will bring you back to enter data for artwork no 2 on our entry page.
Completing the data entry for the second artwork you once again click the "Add to card" and review the information on the Paypal site then progress to the payment stage.

Q: I wanted to register our music CD cover - does this have to be printed and displayed on wall?

All art will need to be in hard copy and framed so that we can hang it on a wall, (see conditions of entry). This will also be the case for digital art this year.
