Before you enter read carefully the "CONDITIONS OF ENTRY" then CLICK the link at PARAGRAPH 20 bottom of page.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. Maximum number of entries is two (2).
2. Entries must be the original work of the entrant not previously exhibited and have been completed in the last 12 months.
3. Entry fee is $22.00 per entry (maximum fee $44).
4. The completed online entry and fee must be received no later than FRIDAY 6th AUGUST.
LATE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
5. All works must be for sale with price nominated on entry.
6. Subject matter MUST be relevant to the theme.
7. Each entry must be clearly marked on the back with title, price, category and artist name, address and telephone number.
(In addition to the PayPal receipt which is issued immediately by email, you will 7 days before the expo weekend receive our info package by email with a label for the back of your art work.)
8. All work MUST be ready for hanging, either framed or mounted with cord or wire firmly attached.
9. OILS MUST BE DRY or work will not be accepted.
10. . Maximum overall size for hanging works: 1mt x 1.2mt. For sculpture maximum footprint to be no larger than 1 sq. metre and maximum weight of 25 kg. Artist to supply their own plinth.
11.Works must be delivered to the venue BETWEEN 2-6pm on Thursday 26th August 2010.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY continued..
12. Unsold works must be collected between 4pm-5pm on Sunday 29th August 2010. No further responsibility will be taken by the committee for works not collected by this date.
13. The committee upon sale of artwork will retain 20% commission. Proceeds of any sale (less commission) will be paid to the artist within 21 days or if card payment used - as soon there after when the card payment has been cleared.
14. Independent judges will conduct judging of artworks entered. The judges’ decision will be, in all cases, absolutely final and no correspondence of any kind will be entered into.
15. Works, titles & prices must not be changed after the entry form is submitted.
16. The organisers will take the greatest care and provide security, but will not accept responsibility for any loss or damage however caused. Artists are advised to insure their own works against loss or damage.
17. Each artist is entitled to a single admission to opening night. (Your name will be listed at the door).
18. The artist will be responsible for arranging transport of his/her works to and from the venue.
19. The committee reserves the right to refuse to accept or hang any piece it deems unsuitable or for reasons due to space or safety constraints.
